In line with the 50th UAE National Day, marking the country’s Golden Jubilee, Nakheel’s retail and lifestyle destinations located at Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah are celebrating this special anniversary with an extravagant acrobatic skydiving display, a fountain and firework show, an interactive art exhibition, and the first-ever digital wall across Nakheel Mall, Palm West Beach, and The Pointe.
The iconic waterfront destination by Nakheel, The Pointe, will mark the 50th anniversary with a specially choreographed show at The Palm Fountain accompanied by a firework display which will sway to ‘Bel Bont Al Areed” by Emirati singer and composer Hussain Al Jassmi, on 2 December at 8 pm. The world’s largest fountain will light up in UAE’s national colours of red, black, white and green. Atlantis will also celebrate UAE’s glorious 50th with its own dazzling firework show on December 3.
With an endless selection of lavish restaurants and cuisines, The Pointe invites visitors to indulge in authentic flavours, culinary experiences and hourly fountain shows featuring hits such as ‘This is our time’, ‘Ya salam ya Dubai’ and ‘Dubai is another planet’ starting at 7 pm from 27 November to 3 December. Visitors are encouraged to reserve a restaurant in advance.
Customers are encouraged to use taxis or park at Nakheel Mall and use free daily shuttle buses to The Pointe, available every half an hour from 5 pm to 12 midnight. Free shuttle buses to The Pointe also run from Palm Jumeirah hotels and residences and locations in Al Barsha, Al Sufouh and Jumeirah Beach Residences.
